Bildung: Kurzvideos als pädagogisches Tool in der Gedenkstättenarbeit - übersetzte Handreichungen (EN, HE, PL)
Die Handreichung zu Kurzvideos im Kontext der Gedenkstättenarbeit für politische Bildner*innen ist jetzt auch auf Englisch, Hebräisch und Polnisch verfügbar.
Mit dem Projekt „Short videos, lasting memories“ erprobten fünf Gedenkstätten, Museen und NGOs nun ein Jahr lang, wie sich Kurzvideos als pädagogisches Tool in der Gedenkstättenarbeit einsetzen lassen: Entstanden ist dabei ein Workshopformat, in dessen Verlauf Jugendliche selbst Kurzvideos produzieren, den Gedenkstättenbesuch so verarbeiten und darüber ins Gespräch kommen.
Die neue Handreichung „Short videos, lasting memories: Kurzvideos als Tool der pädagogischen Erinnerungsarbeit“ gibt einen Überblick über die Rahmenbedingungen des Einsatzes von Kurzvideos im Kontext der Gedenkstättenarbeit und gibt politischen Bildner*innen Konzepte, Ablaufpläne und Materialien an die Hand, um selbst mit Kurzvideos mit Jugendlichen zu arbeiten.

„Short videos, lasting memories“ ist ein gemeinsames Projekt von democ, dem Max Mannheimer Studienzentrum Dachau, der KZ-Gedenkstätte Mauthausen (Österreich), der Internationalen Jugendbegegnungsstätte Oświęcim (Polen) und dem Yad Mordechai Museum (Israel).
Das Projekt wird von der Stiftung EVZ und dem Auswärtigen Amt im Rahmen des Programms JUGEND erinnert international gefördert.
The guide to short videos in the context of memorial site work for political educators is now also available in English, Hebrew and Polish.
With the project ‘Short videos, lasting memories’, five memorial sites, museums and NGOs spent a year testing how short videos can be used as an educational tool in memorial site work. The result is a workshop format in which young people produce short videos themselves, processing their visit to the memorial site and discussing it.
The new guide ‘Short videos, lasting memories: Short videos as a tool for educational remembrance work’ provides an overview of the framework conditions for the use of short videos in the context of memorial work and provides political educators with concepts, schedules and materials for working with young people using short videos.

‘Short videos, lasting memories’ is a joint project of democ, the Max Mannheimer Study Centre Dachau, the Mauthausen Memorial (Austria), the International Youth Meeting Centre Oświęcim (Poland) and the Yad Mordechai Museum (Israel).
The project is funded by the EVZ Foundation and the Federal Foreign Office as part of the JUGEND erinnert international programme.
