RECORD – Research and Documentation on Contemporary Holocaust Distortion

The RECORD project strengthens the resilience of European societies against contemporary forms of Holocaust distortion, which fuels antisemitism and erodes democratic values. The project also examines how misogyny and racism intersect with antisemitism within extremist milieus. Co-funded by the European Union, RECORD brings together civil society organisations, Jewish communities, journalists, policymakers, and law enforcement agencies. It provides stakeholders with knowledge, practical tools, and opportunities for dialogue and collaboration through a range of events, workshops, and reports.

Defending Participation

The Defending Participation project strengthens the digital resilience of Jewish and organisations and those working to combat antisemitism, enabling them to participate safely in public discourse. Through monitoring, training and the development of security strategies, the project helps them identify digital threats at an early stage and respond effectively. Key findings are prepared for policymakers and public authorities to improve protective structures and awareness of these threats.

al-Rased | الراصد – Countering Antisemitism and Anti-Democratic Ideologies

The al-Rased project responds to the spread of antisemitic, anti-democratic and other hateful Arabic-language content on short-video platforms. It combines online monitoring, bilingual short videos, workshops and practical guides to reach young Arabic speakers in Berlin and provide educators and other practitioners with practical knowledge for their day-to-day work.

MAAP – Monitoring and Analysis of Antisemitic Protest Dynamics

The MAAP (Monitoring and Analysis of Antisemitic Protest Dynamics) project tracks and documents antisemitic content and actors at demonstrations and rallies, providing well-founded insights into antisemitic narratives, codes and dynamics in the context of social crises and protests.

Unpacking Online Bias

The Unpacking Online Bias project aims to help educators – including teachers, social workers and other practitioners in child and youth services and non-formal education – address Israel-related antisemitism by producing a practical guide that examines Israel-related antisemitism on social media and offers concrete recommendations and strategies for countering antisemitic narratives in educational settings.

The Meaning of Responsibility | مسؤولية Masʾuliyya

Masʾuliyya is dedicated to producing digital educational content about antisemitism in Arabic. The aim is to reach young Berliners from migrant backgrounds and empower them to engage critically and responsibly with anti-democratic narratives.

decrypt – Recognising and Countering Antisemitism Online

The project produces short videos for social media that raise awareness by explaining antisemitic narratives and codes found in different social milieus.

Memories in Motion – Teaching History Through Short Videos

The Memories in Motion project conducts workshops for teachers in Berlin to support the use of short videos to teach the history of Nazism in a contemporary and engaging way.

Traces of Hate – Mapping Anti-Israel Antisemitism in Berlin

An interactive map charts sites of anti-Israel antisemitism in Berlin: antisemitic incidents, demonstrations and attacks leave their mark on the city’s history. Hostility towards Israel has served and continues to serve as a cover for acts that directly affect Jewish people.

AI-Based Analysis and Research Software for Anti-Democratic Online Movements (ARAI)

In collaboration with HTW Berlin, the ARAI project develops open-source software for analysing Telegram. Other areas of focus include integrating a model that detects conspiracy narratives and developing multimodal content analysis.

Between Solidarity and Violence – Digital Civic Education on Israel-Related Antisemitism

As part of the project, we produce digital educational content on the history and present-day forms of Israel-related antisemitism.

TellMeMore – Supporting the Families and Friends of Conspiracy Believers

TellMeMore supports young people who are struggling with conspiracy beliefs among their family or friends, providing a social media space where those affected can see their experiences reflected. The posts also raise awareness of conspiracy ideologies, encourage people to share their experiences and suggest ways to maintain relationships while setting boundaries.
